Q. Uncle Profit has been named Best New Slot 2025 in the Kongebonus Awards. What does this award mean to you at Print Studios, and how does it feel to receive this recognition directly from the players?

It's, of course, incredibly fun. It means a lot to us when the players themselves vote for the winner. We are proud, and it strengthens both our belief in what we do and the entire team. Thank you very much to everyone who voted.

Q. The game has received a very good response, both in terms of engagement and visibility. Looking back on the launch, is there anything about the way players have received Uncle Profit that has actually surprised you?

Every launch is exciting. Even though we have a good gut feeling internally, you never know how a game will actually be received until you get feedback from the players. That's why communities like yours are so important to us. We would like to thank you for all the feedback we've received over the years, both positive and critical. It helps us immensely in the development of Print as a studio. Keep it up.

Q. In retrospect, do you see any specific choices in mechanics, pacing or structure that were crucial for Uncle Profit to stand out in a very competitive launch year?

It's no secret that there are a huge number of games being released these days, and the competition in the market is getting tougher. We have managed to establish a strong brand where every game feels like something new. We don't reuse anything, but start from scratch every time, and that's quite unique today. That's an important reason why Uncle Profit stands out. For us, it's always the whole that counts. The devil is in the details, and we never release a game until we're happy with everything.

Q. Print Studios is known for releasing a few, but well-crafted titles. How does this award validate your strategy, and has Uncle Profit influenced how you think about future releases?

Absolutely right! Quality over quantity is our vision, and Uncle Profit is no exception. We are very proud of the game, and with an award like this, we feel even more confident that our approach is right.

Q. When a game wins Best New Slot, expectations also rise. How does this affect your ambitions going forward, both for upcoming titles and for the development of Print Studios as a studio?

Our ambition is always the same: to release cool games that have never been made before. Of course, an award like this gives us even more motivation, and we will push the boundaries even harder going forward. We are extremely excited about 2026. Our roadmap is packed with several really exciting launches. First up is 12 Burning Baseballs on February 17th, which I personally have a lot of faith in. After that, we are planning another five games, and it is also possible that we will release an Arcade game as well, but more on that later.
