Chop Norris Jr. has always been obsessed with finding the perfect potato, the legendary Jumbo. Every year, he searches high and low, but somehow, he always fails. Every. Single. Time.

This Thanksgiving, however, Chop set his sights on a different and a more easily acquired target… some of the rest of the Royal Potato crew; King Eduardo, Duchess Wafflecut, Countess Frytoria, Baron Roasti, and Lord Chippington. Unlike Jumbo, they weren’t as lucky. Captured and placed on the Thanksgiving table, they were worried sick about being devoured.

“Quick, everyone, roll!” screamed King Eduardo, as he watched Chop sit at the table. “We’ve got to escape before he… forks us!”

Duchess Wafflecut ducked behind a gravy boat, Countess Frytoria attempted a daring leap toward the edge of the table but moved only less than an inch away to her original spot on the plate, and Baron Roasti started plotting a tiny potato rebellion. Even Lord Chippington tried to disguise himself as a turkey leg.

Little did they know, Chop never actually intended to eat them. All he wanted was company for Thanksgiving. He’d planned to share his perfectly roasted turkey, enjoy some laughs, and maybe introduce the potatoes to some delicious stuffing and cranberry sauce.

He just… forgot to mention that when he “captured” them, and also forgot one minor detail. They’re all vegan.

What follows is a chaotic, hilarious scramble as the Royal Potatoes try to escape, rolling and bouncing around the cabin, while Chop looks on bewildered, turkey in hand, trying to explain that it’s all just for holiday fun. By the end, everyone survives, slightly bruised, slightly confused, but surprisingly grateful for the most unconventional Thanksgiving ever.

Moral of the story? Sometimes, a lumberjack’s heart is bigger than his appetite… even if the potatoes don’t know it yet.
